Default Water noise from dash, i think!

I have a noise that's just started from what seems to be up under the dash on the drivers side up in the top right hand corner, can't be a 100% sure that's where it is though, might be coming from the th other side of the firewall as it's tricky to find it specifically as the noise only happens when i rev the motor. The noise is the sound of running water, when the water pump speeds up i guess is when i get it.

    There is plenty of water/coolant.

Probably will take it to Natrad i guess.

    Cheers, Darren.

I have exactly the same thing, also interested if anyone knows what it is. I've also had my drivers footwell soaked in water a couple of times and my cluster fogs up sometimes.

You might have air in the cooling system, try bleeding it.

Just further to this, i checked the coolant reservoir again and it didn't have any coolant in it! Eye's must have been playing tricks on me first time around as it was bone dry! Anyway i have topped this up and the noise has all but gone. I can just still here it on occasion, maybe as i let the reservoir get so low i may have got a bit of air in her as accentstencil suggested? I will bleed it but I'm interested to know whether the low coolant level can let air into the system?

I think that if the level in the reservoir is low, instead of sucking the coolant back into the system it would suck air.

That's what i thought as it would have to suck something through.
Accentstencil thanks for that, your advice and opinion is highly regarded and appreciated as usual.

    Cheers, Darren
