tacho problem

guys i need some help with my tacho.i just bought a type r tacho and installed it,she is working but the needle it bouncing up and down,someone please help...its also a vt 5.o and is switched on the 8 mark....

Maybe check and see if the needles are on fine?. Maybe something broke or just a little loose?.

nah i just think its a dodgy tacho,when bought of ebay from the seller dtop1 i found a lot of negative feedback about his items...guess i just got a crap one.......do not buy from this seller.....

ok,guys its fixed,found out that the tacho was getting to much signal...put in a spitfire sg p5 potentiometer between the signal and tacho wire and a basic tune it was fixed.....
