Auto Problems
Ok i have a VXII ls1 auto. it has 140,000km on the clock.
gave it a bit of a hard time today and now i have no second gear at all.
It has logged no codes (had dr bob check for me today).
The auto has never showed any signs of problems before. The auto fluid is still pink and got serviced about 20thou ago. levels are fine and does not smell burnt.
Any guess's to what it might be???
And who knows of any good auto trans places in the noble park/dandenong area???

yeah im thinking soloinoid as well.
open to suggestions on what i should do. either replace soloinoid or just go all out and fit it with upgraded valve body and solonoids. anyone done that to a ls1?? what sort of cost to do that??

No warnings light and has not logged a code. drives in first no problems and once enough speed it will change to third.
RVO yeah i know of them. they rebuilt my auto in a 4x4 and never again. long story but once bitten twice shy.
Really? I've had my box built buy them and can't fault it. What happened to make you never go back (can PM me if you don't want to post it in here)?
What about Keysborough Automatics, been around for a while had most of my cars done there. Cheers, Darren.
