Funny odometer??

Just wondering if my odometer is starting to play up.
When the car is switched off it displays the total km's as it has always done. But when on and running i can only get, trip meter, dist til empty. I though it used to show total as well. there are no codes showing.

have you checked the owners manual as you can change the display options to display all types of different things. it is all done by holding buttons and turning the key to set.

yes, mode button works ok. and i can get it to show the extra info. it just doesn't show total kms when running???
