Hello Hello, the backlight on the screen where kms, odometer etc etc are displayed won't light up. Ive changed the ILLUM fuse 10a and it still wont light up. All the other lights are fine.

What seems to be the problem?

by the way this happened after i took out the battery and re connected it..

Probably a blown globe or poor connection at the globe. I'm assuming that there is only 1 globe that lights up the screen but I'm not sure.

No, not off hand. They are not the type of globe that you can get just anywhere. Go to Holden and tell them you want the globe that illuminates the LCD display. I think it might cost around $16, so you would want to be sure that yours has blown. I've had what appeared to be blown globes that start working again when moved a bit.
