Lightbulb Standard air conditioning control: illumination problem

So yeah, all the lights except for the one for the A/C button on my VT II commodore's standard air con panel WON'T LIGHT UP.
I checked fuses, fiddled around with the back of the panel and still nothing.

Also to make matters worse, after un installing my nokia phone in car kit, i just cut the power cable for it and now my stereo won't turn on, I'm pressuming that this was wired up through my stereo's (aftermarket) power.

    Suggestions?

...or its gunna be a LLOONNNGGGG arvo tomorrow...

As for the a/c control panel lights, its a very common problem. Just blown globes, when inspecting the removed globes from our vt they were ALL blown. Not cheap to replace either, probably better off putting LED's in there..

Your probably right about the phone kit, I think the wire probably shorted out when/after you cut it. check the fuses under the steering wheel and insulate the cut wire.

thanks, sorted it out, i connected the negative to the positive from the old phone kit wire and now it works.
I'm probably gunna have to try that one with the LED's.
