Unhappy VT-Engine miss's under load @ low revs

When cruising at 100 kph then encountering a hill, the engine starts to pop & fart. I have to try & give it more to make it kick down. My fuel consumption is shocking. I tried replacing the spark plugs, the leads & even got a replacement coil which I alternated with the existing ones without success (thinking that 1 of them was breaking down).
Someone has mentioned it could be the ignitors. Where are these located?
By the way, I have a direct injected LPG kit & I run it on gas 90% of the time, the effects of the engine missing are a lot worse on gas compaired to petrol. I guess its just the bang caracteristics of the 2 fuels

It seems to run smoothly under acseleration though & I dont think its a gas issue as ive switched it over to petrol & the same problem is there.

I had another look today & I think what I thought was a miss is actually the motor running slightly retarded. Im gonna get it scanned but I think the crank angle sensor might have gone.

I had almost exactly the same problem you mentioned in my VXII V6. Took all the plug leads off and re-attached them and it went away! Don't really know how it fixed it, but its gone! Was doing it for nearly 12 months and had it looked at twice by Holden with no success. Hasn't been back since!

your car seems to have too much air to LPG or Fuel mixture take it into your local mechanic for a tune, and maybe a bit of a service..
