Default VX II Passanger Airbag Installation

I have VXII Commodore with driver's airbag only. I was wondering if it was possible to install 2nd hand passanger airbag without major complications. Ie is module designed to accept more than one airbag? Is wiring already there? etc.

    Thank You

I looked into this some time ago. You need the Airbag, dual airbag sensing module (goes under the centre console), and as usual, the loom is all there.

What I wasn't sure about is ECU levels, if any ecu has the option to control various airbag combos or if you need a specific one and the fact that Holden refused to test the system circuit once installed to ensure proper operation.

Also my insurer stated that they would not insure any person injured by the aftermarket airbag and may look at voiding my insurance altogether because it can't be engineered.

Why not just pop down to a auto elec, Ask away and see what they say, Also get an about price.

I just done both front Air-Bags, And they scare **** out of me, Auto Elec changed and fitted them, Holden checked the wiring and system check all was good.
