also was it the VT models that had this feature or was it the VX and above? if it was on the VT i would imagine it was only on berlina/calais??

    cheers hoZy!
I will also have a geeze through there site!
did you get your switch sorted?
Im Considering just doing the head light switches up and selling them to people for $50 (would include me buying 2 switches from wreckers, new bulbs if needed + postage ect)
I wouldn't make a real lot from it, but would be a good feeling to know i have a few mods out there in other peoples cars that i built if ya know what i mean!

I could change the colours without using leds, I would just use different coloured globe covers ect! In my first prototype i used green leds but it didn't light up the face properly, i would be more inclined to stay with the stock bulbs but just change covers, but if people wanted i can fit the leds but i cannot guarantee people would be happy with the end result ect!
On a different note, i fitted the calais with a set of fog light surrounds and did a HOW-TO just waiting for mods to approve, but it looks sweet

i use 3mm leds 11,000mcd & 13,000mcd brightness... bright enough to light up a room... but when used properly there not in ur face... u angle them, sand them, play a little i wire up resistors the lot, i also use surface mount LED's a lot..

    cheers

I worked my price on this:
    VS switch $10-15
    VT switch $15
    postage $5?
Fuel 2 and from wreckers dick smith ect $5
    bulbs $3.60 (more for leds)
    90cm wire from DS $2
    -------------
Dose not leave much out of $50 and these arent a slap together mod, they take a fair bit of time and effort ect! But if someone can pick one up for $20-30 be my guest I knew i wouldnt make really anything out of these just wanted to help people out where i can
Hey also fellas i found this out from wrx884 post (http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...il-lights.html)
according to carsRus useing leds isnt a good idea unless you use a resistor, posted by carsRus:
LED tail lights cause issues with the Commodore Body Control Model as they do work on the same current draw as standard bulbs. The lights we sell come with the perfectly rated resistor that basically puts the correct load on the circuit and keeps everything working as it should.
With that said you can get around this by useing a resitor but i dont have a clue where it would go i could do this switch with leds but you would have to sort out where the resistor goes ect!
