    Unhappy Cold starting problem

    Hi all

My vt commodore is not starting on cold mornings.
Around 3-4 months ago had fuel pump and filter changed.
At this early stage have ruled out battery only. Passed stress test
    Trip computer says 12.1 volts
My thinking is that the problem might be crank sensor? Maybe be fuel?

Please help me find out what the problem may be
Thanks in advance and bye for now

The battery may still have dropped a cell. Not starting when cold is a dead give away. Change the battery.

    Hi all

Just cleaned the spark leads and have noticed that car works when I hold the
accerator down when starting. Does this mean I have bad fuel or pressure leak?
I am still not sure if the problem is fuel or electric

Please help me find out what the problem may be
Thanks in advance and bye for now

It could be neither fuel or electric...try mechanical. I'd say your injectors are probably dirty and needs cleaning out.

Charge rate is approx 13.8 volts and battery test was 600 cca and just over 12 volts
I heard you only need 10 volts to start v6 but it could not be that low could it?
Injectors 5 and 6 replaced 3 to 4 months ago. Do you guys get the water in the boot
problem how bad is that. Might have to fish oil me boot before it rusts out.
Should I test my ignition coils next.
