VT Series 2 diff gears

Hey guys

just looking at changing the diff gears in my vt ss seriers 2. now im just wondering what diff gears with fit in it. can i get them from vt-vz? any help would be great. thanks

VTII to VZ should be the same.
You should have the option of 3.07 (standards), 3.46, 3.73, 3.9 and 4.11
Your decision will come from what you want from the car and how you drive it and how much highway driving you do.
They higher the ratio, the quicker it will accelerate but the less top end speed.
Your speedo will also be out with a change of gears.

yeh cheers man. probably gonna get some 3.9's but herd that vt series 2 are special or somthing so u cant fit gears from other cars etc or am i worng??

Nah, nothing special, but you just wont be able to fit say 3.9's that would fit a VN-VS, you would need ones to suit VT SII onwards
