hey all need some of your help,
driving to work this morning and all of a sudden heard like some strange noise like a humming sound, then my abs and traction control light came on and didnt turn off. i turned the car off and back on and they went back to normal .
wat the hell happened!!!! any help pleaaassseee??
anwayz it was the first time it happened. driving a vx sII manual s pack if it helps

haha unfortunalty it was dry???? yea im hopein it just freaked out and not something on its way out or a bigger issue

well traction control and abs are on the same system. Id say the abs cycler had a loose moment and needed resetting

Probably just a blonde moment.....

I'd say if it happens again, its probably your ABS/ECT module on its way out. Start saving up about $500 for the new electronic module.

Not that it helps much, but I ran into this a while ago. It would do it randomly every now and then, once every week or two. I had most of the plastic dash/console electronics unplugged about a month or two ago while installing audio stuff and it hasn't done it again since.

So possibly related to loose wires/connections in some circuitry or something maybe?
