water leak

have had my 98 vt ss for about 3 months now
but as of late have had to put about a cup of water in the radiator every day
and think it is coming out of the front of the manifold just above the water
pump as well as the leak there seams to be some brown sluge there to.
is this a major fix or a ralativly easy one
any thoughts

I had a sililar problem with my VP SS.
Found it was as simple as the manifold not being bolted down tight enough. Before u look too deeply into it, maybe try that first. May not work, but worth the attempt

I have the same problem now. I was talking to my mechanic and he said just change the intake manifold gasket (valley) which i just bought for $31 at bursons. Apparently its not hard just time consuming stripping everything and cleaning. I am starting mine tomorrow night to save a day and a half labour.

yeh really not that hard just make sure everything goes back the way it came off
