VT Doors, is there a difference S1 & S2?

Just wondering if theres any difference in VT Series 1 doors and Series 2 doors? i mean are the hinges and everything the same? will a S2 door go straight on to a S1 body?

VT series 2 doors are a straight bolt on, only difference is that they are a fair bit lighter due to a different brace being used inside them which won't affect fitment whatsoever. Only issue you might encounter is if the doors have a different luxury level of loom to what your car is - ie power windows, courtesy lights. The plugs however are the same up until the VX series 2 where they changed completely.

iv been told there was a change in the door lock catch aswell, and i know the VX has a different hinge, not sure it it varys on the VT aswell.

Id say it would all still fit togther tho

The check-strap is different, but the whole assembly for the series 1 from holden is like $10 last I checked, and it would bolt into series 2 doors Im sure.
