Does anyone know how to remove these map pockets and replace them coz my drivers side one has been broken off and also had the inner plastic broken in half on the left side of the pocket?Looks like a screw comes through the plastic backing on the coulson seat.
They are held on by plastic clips. Just pull the pockets off, the clips will break but new clips are cheap to buy and are supplied with new pockets.
Apparently you can get them off without breaking the clips but it's a bit of messing around.
MY RIDE
I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
Thanks mate will give it a go
ya just push in and up the entire black plastic of the seat to take it off, push the clips together(they are split clips) and push em out the holes, or the easy way, just bust the clips lol
I'd recommend visiting Holden and buying a few spare white clips, as you may break one or two during installation. They are about 50c each, so half a dozen floating around your toolbox doesn't break the bank.
1 Firstly you need to remove the lumbar support dial (held by a circlip).
2 Once the dial is removed, start removing the rear panel from the BOTTOM. The top has guides, and if you snap those, you're stuffed.
3 The bottom panel is held by two white plastic clips, roughly 1/3 of the way in on both sides. Just yank them, let them snap, and replace them with the ones you bought from Holden earlier
You'll be able to figure the rest out. Just a note, it can be a pain getting the bottom two clips to line back up when you're re-fitting the panel. This is where a few extra clips can come in handy!
Thanks man for your detailed advice....
Just tried your instructions mistaken. However the lumbar support dial is harder to remove than i thought.I cant even see a circlip all i can see is a black moulded fitting inside of the dial and the plastic is too tight here to see what is inside of the cover. Please help....
Got it.I needed another pair of hands to turn the lumber support dial and hold it out a little then i finally glanced the circlip and prized it off.The rest was easy. Thanks mistaken again for your help......
yep forgot to mention, that circlip is hard to get to , gotta push the plastic covering inward, and pull a bit on teh dial....
