yep, ya gotta remove the whole light(or you MIGHT have enough room to get a screw driver(phillips head) in there), there's a screw on top that holds the metal ring on, ya gotta undo that to get the glass out( be careful tho), and cos of the type of bulb, DONT touch it with ya fingers!!! use a tissue or you'll be replacing it far too sooner then u should, can get pic for ya if ya wanna know which screw to undo, but its pretty easy to know which one to undo. hope that helps.

take the bezel out
unscrew the 2 screws holding the bracket over the fog light
pull fog light out
remove existing light
installation is reverse

funny thing is when i baught new globes for my calais the guys at autobarn said they spent 2 hours the day before fitting them for a client on their car also... it seriously only takes a few minutes :P

do you have the round SS style lights? there is only 1 screw u need to undo, you shouldnt have to undo all the other screws if you have a thin enough screwdriver to get in there, heres a pic of which screw to undo.

the outer ring is held in by only 1 screw.
hope this helps

ok so just an update.
i figured out how to get the cover off.
next part how do i get the globe out?
i could try forcing things but dont want to break anything, so thought play it safe and ask here.
ive attached some pics, sorry for poor quality, but gives you an idea.

also i inspected the globe and it doesnt look blown? is that the case with these bulbs? and that it could be the wireing or somthing.
or how can i confirm before buying new ones?

hope to hear a reply.

thanks

just pull the bulb out mate, bulbs for these aint too dear so just put new globe in and hook the wiring back up(no need to remount it just yet) n turn the foggie on, make sure you have the wiring done properly(otherwise it wont work) that'd be the easiest way to determine what the prob is

at the end of the blue cable is a terminal, just pull on that and it should come loose, easy to buy, supercheap/repco sell them, take it in for a sample and you'll be fine...

When you buy a new globe it comes as one piece (wire, metal base and globe) as in your first picture.

well just thought id come back and let you know that i got a new bulb and its in and working.
how ever next thing is, may have to get someone to look at it, but ill ask anyway.
When the parkers are on the fog lights work not a problem, brightness is fine, no worries
how ever when i turn the normal headlights on, the bulb i just replaced dips greatly and the brigteness drops dramatically as if its draining more power.
also when i put high beams on, both fog lights drain power and are dimmed greatly.

any ideas to what could be causing this?
