    Exclamation vx calias garnish

ay guys just got myself a vx Calais garnish and was wonder has anyone hooked the wires up so the break lights work on them? there are 3 wires and instead of wiring it in to the wiring harness was thinking of making it a slave off the other light, IE my wing light. has anyone done this? any help appreciated and or a diagram? thanxs in advance Scott

Hey man you said there are three wires one is for brake light positive, one is for park light positive, and the other is earth. You could run 2 power wires up from your tail light and the earth should work srewed straight into the boot lid. Or you could prob buy the vx calais loom from holden, im guessing it will plug straight into the vt plug. Making your own loom is pretty easy, check the wire colors in the boot may even be the same as the ones in the garnish?? then just run the wires up through the same hole as your wing light wire.

RVX219 go buy your self a test light, that will show you wat wires you need to cut and shut. but basicly your standard brake light has 3 wires going to it same as your new garnish so you only have to run 2 power wires in.

well you should be able to screw the garnish earth wire straight into the boot lid with a self tapper screw. It should earth out through the hinges back to the battery.
