just buy one.. i did![]()
and yes they have getrags
how much was yours??
Hey Mate
I got a quote ajez ago, and to convert a VY to manual was going to cost me about 3k with parts and labour, so yeah its easier to jsut wait and find a Manual commodore, it took me 3 months to find mine and loving it everyday i drive it...
lucky you guys found one. the auto is really sluggish and its gettin to me but i dont really want to sell it until i find something a lot better
def. buy manual.. i wanted same for my vs ute. mate of mine is head mechanic at a holden dealership.. said the job is a pig and will cost heaps. Mine was a column shiftwhich meant a whole lot more to do without centre console already there like complete new wiring looming etc... but even with centre shift seems all too hard.
but if i buy a new car im not gonna get a ecotec again im prolly gonna get a 6sp 5.7 vt or somethin similar
Just find a manual SS then. Or even a VT Exec with a GenIII and 6 speed.
Its funny, from new, automatic cars cost more, yet in the 2nd hand market, the 'rare' manuals fetch more.....
