Power Steering Pressure hose Wont re-fit

Has anyone else had troubles re-fitting a vt series 1 power steering pressure hose. I had to buy a new one cos the ****head who had it before me has bent the original, now iv bought a new one $78 worth, now it wont re-fit, im pretty sure its a dogy thread but id love other peoples input.

you might have to take the pump off n fit the pipe while the pump is off.
Those things have to be lined up 100% perfect to screw in

yeh cool thanks, but i can get it in 2 or 3 turns and it becomes tight so then i get my spanner and go to do it up, then 1 or 2 twists later it pops out, no way to stop it so yeh i dunno...
