Electric window failure
Hey guys my electric windows have died on my vx ss and was told its expensive to fix anyone else had this problem?

Have you checked the fuse (circuit breaker) and relay ?

I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
have 3 windows now working but not great seems to be a faulty switch and one seems to have the lifting mechanism dropped off and is totaly stuffed. so now looks more serious than id hoped bugger!

When you say the lifting mechanism has dropped off , do you mean the plastic runners have broken and come off the track. Not real sure but i can now move the window up and down by hand so something is broken in there hey.
will have to get it checked out.
