VT Tail Light Problems
one of my brake lights have gone in my vt, has anyone else had any dramas removing the actual light from the body? it seems you have to have an arm lik a stick figure to reach in behind it to access any of the internals?!!! i tried followign the workshop manual but it didnt work!>!
Fairly easy
Just undo the two philips headed screws then rotate the lens outwards. It will feel like you are going to break the lens but be gentle and there are two locating pins which pop out, (held in rubber grommets) ...and presto the lens is in your hands and access to the bulbs is easy.
cool will give that a go, i didnt know what the locating pins were i felt the pressure and didnt want to snap them off, now i know they come off i should be successful!
rotate out a bit then push light out to the side, don't keep rotating
may need a sideways thump with you hand to pop the pins out
