    Default getting a vx and need help

    hey guys, in a couple of days, im getting my first car. A 2000 vx acclaim, and was thinking about lowering it. do i need to buy a camber kit?

    I think the camber issue was fixed in the VX.

    ^^^ I wouldn't say "fixed"

    I would say it was addressed and was rectified to a certain point...

    To answer the question directly... depends how long you are planning on going and what rims you will plan of having on it...

    Lower profile tyres will wear quicker because of camber than normal profile tyres...

    If you put FE2 suspension or say KING SL's in... you don't NEED a camber kit...

    Lower and your going to want one unless you have a deep wallet to pay for tyres.

    VX II.. VX same as VT...
    A control link was fitted from VXII, Helped heaps.

    ^^^ Good pickup!! Forgot about that... its the series 2 VX that the issue was looked at.
