DS Door lock problem URGENT

OK i got my road worthy tomorow and trust somethin to go wrong. I have a series 1 vt and i pulled the door apart to fix the door handle, now iv put it all back together the door is stuck on lock, i cant shut it, but i can unlock it and lock it wiith the key but it makes no difference because the latch stays locked.

Urgent help needed.

take the opposite side door trim off, but dont undo any mechanisms and look at whats different to the 1 thats stuffed up...........

i think it is the door has closed the mech when its been opened

hold the handle up on the door put a thin screwdriver in the door latch and open up the catch once open it should be fine
