Smile Passenger Door Handle Replacement

Hi I have a 1999 VT Commodore Olympic edition and my passenger door handle has snapped - I was able to get a replacement handle. Is it easy to replace? I have managed to get the door trimming off.

Many thanks

I think it's only 2 nuts and a thin rod that unclips that need to be removed, from memory.

my 98 VT has very squeeky door handles on the outside. I've tried DW40, hoping that it'd stop the squeeking noise but It seems that it might be scraping up against something when i open it.

I think you have to drop the window glass out before you can get to the handles.

No need to remove the glass, just wind the window up.
