hi
the car gives a little shudder when taking off from a stand still. it only does it for a second or two than stops. i have tried putting my foot down at all other speeds and there is nothing at all. it is only when taking off from a stand still and once the car is up too about 10km/h it wont do it. if i very very lightly accelerate it doesn't do it but under normal or hard acceleration it gives the shudder. i held the brake on and accelerated so i didn't move and it shook the car the whole time i was pressing the pedal, but i then tried it in reverse and there was no shudder at all. i done this a few times and it is only in "d". has anyone had this before?

I would be asessing the condidtion of the plugs, leads and fuel filter. I think the transmission is good unless it needs a service too.

it looks like the right hand engine mount is stuffed. would that cause a shudder? and are they hard to change as i cant find anything on them in the Gregory's manual?

I think the engine mount is the problem. It seems like it is a fairly common problem.
