VTGen III V8 stalling problem

the engine keeps cutting after say 10 minutes on the road, the battery icon illumiates on the dash. I wait 10 minutes and it runs again and then keeps repeating the problem any idea's whats going on, the RAC tells me it could be a wiring short or the alternator needs replacing

could be alot of things, but dont just take their word and start replacing parts in 'hope' that will fix it.

check ur error codes, will be very likely that youll get a CAS sensor error

failing that take it to a reputable auto elec

i agree, sounds like your crank angle sensor
