Question Supercharged and non sc engine differences

Well here we go again..Showing my ignorance. I have a buggered supercharged ecotec donk...I have a good non charged ecotec donk. Would I be dreaming if I was hoping to bang the charger on the non charged donk and not have to too many mods to make it work?

hey it wont work the supercharged has all diffeent interals, lower compression ratio, different heads and the list goes on. pretty much the only thing the same is the block.

Bottom end differences are limited to: Pistons, Gudgeons, Rods, Balancer, Flexplate, Balance shaft. Cam is he same too but degreed 2deg retarded.

Top end differences are comprehensive but you want to swap all that anyways so it is irrelevant.

If you are seperating the engine from the trans, might as wel fit an aftermarket stall, makes a huge difference on the charged engine.

The good news is that I can build a pretty good unit from the two because the sc engine has a broken crank. Thanks for your help...anyway I got a spanner or 2 to throw...PS I will change the torque converter cause I may as well do some minor performace mods while it's apart...Can you recomend a cam?
