hey guys, my diff is starting to make noises. i was just wondering if you can
fit a LSD DIFF 3.07 ratio to suit VX VU VY IRS commodores, can fit in a vt? it was removed from a A VY series 2 berlina V8.
i took my vt s/c 6 into the mechanics along with my vy (fit vt diff into vy) and they said it cant be done!
wat were the differences btwn 'em?
drive it like you stole it, love it like no other, and remember...holdens always do it better
not sure they said they were completly different diffs!
you will probably find if u change diff oil then it will stop the noise (and clunk if it was the same as mine)! but if u want an lsd then get one!
VT series 1 are different to VX-VY. VT series 2 should be the same.
cheers dudes!

Its only the yoke on the end. If ya get it reshimmed with the collapsable (sp) spacer, you might as well change the yoke at the same time.
ok kool! cheers rvx!
