Traction contol light question for the advanced!

Hi,

This may be a question only a technician could answer with a Tech2.

My car is fitted with traction control and I have had the cluster changed to a VT HSV 3 window item. The only issue is that the VT HSV cluster does not have the cut outs for the traction control lights.

I have tried wiring a new separate light for the TRAC OFF but have since discovered that it doesn't work with the VT HSV cluster but if I install the old cluster the light I have made works.

Is this because the Holden dealer has not enabled the light within the cluster?

I have tried finding the wire that goes into the back of the cluster but believe that there is no wire and the cluster receives the TRAC OFF info through the ABS serial data. Looking at the wiring diagrams the Low TRAC light is straight from the ABS module but not the TRAC OFF light.

Can someone please inform me if I am correct or that the VT HSV cluster does not support the traction control lights.
