Default Slotted rotors - slot direction?

Hi All,

Can anyone please tell me what direction straight slots in slotted rotors should face. Do they go front to rear (looking from bottom of rotor to top) or the other way around?

thanks!

I guess I need to clarify a bit more. If the slots on the front face the rear of the car, are the slots on the rear then meant to face toward the front of the car (ie. slots face away from the caliper)??
