Default VX Executive

Hey guys, I got a VX Executive(2000) a about 7 months back now and have always thought it was stock as a rock, no extras. But there has always been one thing that has always made me wonder was every VX Executive i see has the circle muffler tip and has a pretty quite idle, while mine has a oval muffler tip and is quite a bit louder. So basically my question is, Was there an option to upgrade the exhaust when buying a VX Executive or has this been put on since the car was sold in which case how would i find out what type of exhaust is on it?

should say its a sports system. To check you could just look under the car and the pipe from the cat back will either look newer or be of a larger diameter than the original pipes coming from the motor

It could well be stock material. I vaguely remember there was news about a component manufacturer that was experiencing financial problems back in early 2000s that was affecting the supply of OEM components to car manufacturers. So don't be surprised if some parts look a little different between same models of that era. Could someone verify this?

If it was anything other then an Executive then I wouldn't have thought twice about it but a car that doesn't have power windows but has a sports looking exhaust just doesn't seem right.

hmmm that car started as a VT Executive and looks to have the same exhaust, maybe it is normal for people to option sports exhaust before power windows.
May i also add that is one sexy car
