LS1 Starting Probs???

As title says the ls1 sometimes dont wonna start, it turns over but dont start. or sometimes it will then stall straight away. Did it this morning after i put my foot on the Xcelrator an she was fime an run sweet.

In was thinknig the battary as it prob sat in the car yard for abit b4 i bought it but if it was that wouldnt there be a battary light on the dash when driveing?

Any info/help would be good

Contrary to popular believe the battery light on the dash does not indicate the health of your battery. It actually indicates if your charger is working correctly.

Check the health and state of your battery, electrolyte levels, battery connection posts. Then check your mains lead connection is good and there is a good solid connection between the frame of your car to the negative terminal post.

yeh if the battery is coming up on the dash, ur alternator isnt charging the battery causing it to drain it out....id say check alt first

yeh no battary light comes on but i might have thought it does show if the batt is bugged. But will check what above said too.

On the vt i had i remember the batt was stuffed but yeh it didnt show like said. went and got it tested an put a new one in an all was good again so i might go get that check as they said last time that it can be 50/50 which they said is worth replacing.
