    Default missing when warm vt v8

    hi got a problem with a vt v8 missing when warm, i have changed alot of parts new coil new leads plugs injectors new fuel pump and still missing

    i have noticed the dash rev tacho is moving around a bit more than normal

    any help would be appercitated

    have you logged any fault codes?

    might be a coil dying. it will be the electrical side of things by the sounds of it.

    Mine did that also,if you have done the coil try and borrow another ignition module and see what happens.Mine was runnind very bad so we swapped the module and it was betterbut replacing the coil fixed it for good.

    check ur leads arent crossing eachother or shorting on the engine somewhere,
    also make sure your leads are ALL plugged in correctly on both ends

    Default vt v8 no luck

    all leads been checked, also tryed another ignition module off a mate still no luck, i thinking dissy ?? the hall sensor what does this do when it plays up ??

    any one had problems with there dizzy ?? took the car to ultra tune put on tech 2 and no code

    Not sure if the VT 5L is effected by this, but VN-VS 5Ls are prone to the erratic idle thing. Mine seemed to fix after i re earthed the alternator. Can get pics of what i mean if you want (to see if the VT is the saem as my VP)

    Don't take it back to any franchise store if you want to keep your money. Find a decent mechanic.

    Default car fixed

    finally some good news, car is fixed

    took the car to get dyno tuned today at electronic automovtie in epping

    on the dyno it was running very lean due to a faulty air flow meter

    tryed a new one on the dyno and car is back to 100%

    thanks everyone for your help

    i hope this will help some one solve there problem
