I apologize if this is a bit off topic, but it seems this is the best place to ask the questions I have. I'm an American from upstate New York looking to give my car a little boost and have run into a snag. I have a 99 Pontiac Firebird with the Series II 3.8L V-6 that I want to supercharge. I've had a Pontiac GTP with the same 3.8L, only supercharged and front wheel drive. With the front wheel drive, the throttle body fit directly to the backside of the supercharger in a straight line fashion. Problem is, if I turn that blower/throttle body 90 degrees to use on my rear wheel drive car, the throttle body hits the firewall. GM never sold a M90 here in the states with the U-shaped intake on the rear as on your Holdens since they never made a rear wheeled driven supercharged 3.8L car. So here's my question finally...on your Holdens, is this a seperate elbow/manifold on the rear of the M90, or is it cast into the backside of the blower? Can anyone send me close up pictures of the supercharger on a Holden, especially the elbow on the backside? Thanks, any help is appreciated
Carl
hey buddy its a bolt on elbow. could be pretty hard to find 1 tho.
The Aussie supercharger housing is different to the American one and has a separate u-bend attachment. Sign up at l67torque dot com and you'll find heaps of photos in the my ride sections and you may also find contacts to help you source an Aussie housing for your car.

The charger housing is a different cast at the rear. It bends to the left side. The bypass actuator is run off the side of the housing too.
