    Default upgrade on brakes

im looking at getting some slotted discs and some red stuff pads to make me stop quicker.

thoughts? are green stuff good enough or should i go the extra 70 bucks or whatever it is and get red. i'm probably just going to upgrade the front

Slotted rotors and Greens are enough. Reds won't work very well until they are hot, so the first couple of applications when cold would feel like you had no brakes.

I can do you slotted rotors and green stuff pads all round for $500. Shipping would be $25 if you can't get to Arndell Park, Bankstown or Newcastle.

I had greens and they chewed the **** out of the disc. They are too much for the lower spec discs IMO. They did work really really well though, as long as you are willing to go through discs at 3 times the rate you normally do.

You can tell by the picture that the cross drilled disks have been replaced with slotted....
The bottom pic does not have any cross drilled holes

Save your money and get QFM A1RMs instead of the Red Stuff, slightly higher performing pad, with slightly less rotor wear and better cold bite. $119, plus the current half price rear deal makes the rears only $59.50, and still 100% daily drivable.
