Talking Just Got A series 2 vt commo v6

    Hi all
I have just inherited a series 2 vt commo ecotec v6 off my parents and as i am a 18yro P-plater i would like to do some cheap mods and help her move a lil faster.
i have a mate who raves about removing the bellmouth valve from vp and vn commo's but i havnt found much info regarding doing this in a VT.
im also looking into getting a 2.5inch exhaust with extractors a combo i know you pretty much cant go wrong with.
    thoughts on this?
any other ides would be greatly appreciated

    mate,

lower it, get a 2.5" catback, some nice rims, tint, stereo with subs, maybe a shift kit and just cruise in it.

that will make a nice clean smooth car to get around in, unless your going to supercharge or turbo it you cant get a vt 6 moving all the quick
no longer a hoon by association - the commodore is gone

they dont have a belmouth like the vn/vp

Sweet as, i figured as much with the bellmouth.
kinda unwilling to lower, parents decked out the suspension for heavy towing of a horse float (occasionally!), sits like its on rails!
Consider the sound system taken car of by the end of the week courtesy of a very nice tax return!
A shift kit is a good how much do they cost roughly id imagine round 300 or 400 for at least a stage 2?
    thanks for the advice
