Manual VT's?
Hey guys.
Where are all Manual VT's? I can't seem to find any. Would my best bet to do a conversion and put a manual gearbox in one or would I be able to find one somewhere, I'm using online sites such as CarSales.

keep looking and you will find one...
the manual executives are hard to come by now though if you were after a calais or similar youll find one easy..
also look on ebay and trading post there may be some in them

They are out there mate. I looked for about 2 years and then i gave up, went to buy a 5000 auto vt. Drove down to the yard and there was a manual series 2 exec with 70 thou kays on it so i bought that. That same day i test drove 3 other VT s packs that were manual but with higher kays.
Just keep looking mate becuase the manual conversion is an expensive effort just to have a manual v6. Trading post every thursday is where i found them

No factory manual calais' were made
no longer a hoon by association - the commodore is gone
Old post but Im considering wrecking and selling all parts from my VT 6sp LS1 5.7ltr engine and box work well... make an offer (no funny blokes please, serious offers only)

they are the P platers special so their price is inflated
strangely easier to find an LS1 manual but even they aren't that common
im not talking to the guy wanting a manual vt, im talking to the guy above me wanting to sell his ls1..... read mate
