Rear seal oil leak

New to all this: so i got a lot of oil leaking from the rear seal can anyone tell me how to go about fixing this.

Either use a High Mileage oil like Shell Helix pLus 15W50 HMV or Valvoline Maxlife 20W50 for at least 2 oil changes, see if it slows it. These have slightly higher levels of seal swell over normal oils. Otherwise get some Auto-RX which is a seal cleaner, if the seal isn't damaged it will clean both sides of the seal making it seat properly.

or do the rear main seal and other goodies while its out?
think engine has to come out on 5l's?

5L is engine out as the crank has to be taken out to fit the seal, may be the distributer seal and oil running down.
