removing spoiler on VX Calais HBD bodykit

i have a vx calais with HBD bodykit,
wanting to remove it, i have the rubber thingos to go inside the holes just want to know how to remove the brake light wire without cutting it.
i have looked through, up and down the boot and there is no way to disconnect it and just pull it through.
can anyone help me?

y dnt you get another boot lid? wud save u the holes? and cud switch it back weneva u want....

most likely wreckers man....best bet....or u cud look on egay if thers 1 in ur state that u cud pick up cheap
