tail light fuse

ok so i was on my way home from work last night my ride is a vx ss and the dash lights go out for no apparent reason so now i have no tail lights aswell as they run through the same circuit has any one had this problem or no what is wrong as i dont no why it would just blow for no reason when i put a new fuse in it did the same thing any help would be appreciated as im not to keen on going to the auto elecs just yet cheers shaun

You have a short circuit somewhere in your wiring to your lights. Have that checked out.

Also do you have a towbar? If so, check that your trailer socket is all good and theres no rubbish rattling around the pins that can cause a short.
