Hi,
Im going to replace the fuel pump and while i have the tank out, I would like to know if its normal practice to replace the sender unit as well??
I am paying $115 for the pump only, or $190 for the pump and sender together as a kit.
Cheers
if it ain't broke don't fix it but in saying that, i recently replaced a fuel pump and paid $125 for the pump. I was quoted over $300 for the complete unit, so $190 for the lot seems like a bargain. Just find out whether the sender can be purchased seperately if you only decide to replace the pump.
Thanks Steven,
Yeah, Holden quoted me $395 for the kit, and the local auto spares quoted $190 (not sure if it was austrailan made though) but I ended up getting the pump only. My uncle ordered one from work and it only cost $85 (australian made)
Cheers
