    Default diff

    i have a vt 5.7 and am looking for 3.9 gears for the diff will the vr-vs irs diff gears fit i cant find any info or specs on the vt diff

    Pretty sure they wont...
    VT series one had the BW78 gears, and series 2 upwards had the BW80 gears

    vs and previous had small diffs and carriers

    from vt1 and under they had bw78 diffs
    so if it is s1 the earlier gears will fit

    They will not fit
    all the ones on eBay are for the smaller diff VT series 1 and ecotecs
    from VT series 2 and VT series 1 L67's they use the larger diff
    if the add says suits vl's and up to series 1 VT forget it.
    i nearly got caught recently just went and bought a new set of 3.9's

    Being a 5.7 do you mean the GENIII (being a series 2), or the holden stroker 5.7 (series 1, in some HSV's)???

    if its a gen3 you will need the later model gears
    if your in sydney
