L67 conversion questions

done a quick search and couldnt find much so here goes.

i have a vx v6 if i buy a L67 will that bolt straight up to the trans, also do i need to change the kframe? engine loom?computor?


im hoping i can just get the engine and drop it in? is it that easy thanxs scott

Engine is a straight swap. The engine is very similar to the ecotec, and most of the accessories are in the same location. You can use your trans/torque convertor you have now, but the L67 torque convertor is different (smaller I think).

Easiest thing to do is find an L67/trans/loom and ecu. Less mucking around that way.

thanxs champ just wanted to save some money as my trans is great so that will sve 1000 i imagine do u know what fittings worth? about 200-300 i guess? thanxs scott

Not sure how much it would cost to get fitted. But i'd guess $500-$1000 in labour depending where you take it.
