vx v6 acceleration problem

hey um sometimes when i accelerate..usually after takin it outta reverse (auto) and i put my foot down a little bit hard the car clunks and jerks forward...sometimes it happens after iv stopped as well...is this normal or not?

Hi mate, doesn't sound normal. There could be any number of causes for this, anything from faulty engine mount, slipping gearbox belt, sticking throttle body. Does it happen when you take off easy or just when you dump it? When did you last have your auto service?

only happens when i dump it...usually not that hard though...if i take off easily its fine...it was serviced not that long ago only a month or so
