Question Does my A/C need re-gassing?

I'm assuming that's what the problem is but I don't want to get a $1000 shock when I go to get it fixed!

    VT Exec S1
    -Green A/C LED turns on
    -Warm air comes out
-'Hissing' sound from somewhere near the glove box

    Any advice would be appreciated

ive got the same prob, but with no hissing, just dosnt cool down at all ,

is there a fuse for the aircon? or just the relay? or does it just need re-gassing

If the aircon light comes on when you press it then its not a fuse or relay.
I'd say it needs re-gassing and will cost arround $90.

To be on the safe side they will test your aircon when they re-gas to make sure the compressor is in good order.

hissing around the glovebox would indicate a hose off the vaccuum tank behind the glove box, pull the glovebox out and check the orange hoses around there
