    Default how to remove little spacer thing.

    does anyone know how to remove that spacer kind of thing that is above both your rear quarter panels.. its about 45cm long, 3cm in width;

    It is bolted and glued on, quite hard to get off without snapping it as it is made out of cast alloy. There is a 10mm bolt inside the car behind the plastic trim where your seat belt is and the rest is glued.

    ok.......

    hah! do they remove that part if you were to get your car sprayed professionally ?

    is it worth taking off ? i have to if i want to paint the car dont i?

    Yes you can remove it quite easily, I have done so on mine with no problems.
    Undo the bolt behind it and use a piece of fishing line to slice through the backing

    i didnt bother when i resprayed my car and have had no problems. more hassle to remove.
