Default got $11,300 for my vt

so i sold the first love of my life, she was a vt series 2 s pack with 5 speed manual and L.S.D.

she was one honest car, barely ever thrashed, nice stereo, perfect condition inside and out.

it was sad to see it go, but was a must in order to pay for the new car.

i wont say much untill i get it, but its a hell of a ride for a 19 year old.

    kind regards johnny

Clearly there are people out there willing too pay far too much for cars.

Wish I could find those suckers.

i sold my vs wagon for 4 grand, it had a rooted alternator bearing, starter half shagged, p/s pump needed rebuilding, transmission half shagged, 4x bald tyres, leaking water in the back windows in heavy rain.

i waved goodbye as the alternator screamed its head off going down the road lol.

To some people, yes. Others like myself no. actually it devalues the car of everything its worth becuase i wouldnt even consider it as an option. So by running a dual gender car you actually lose some potential buyers lol

3rd that. None of my cars will ever run dual fuel.

Theres only one gas setup, and thats straight gas.

Why is it that people tend to be so afraid of saving money??

    I seriously just cannot understand.

If you have had the experiences i have had with gas, you would have a complete different opinion.

I'd run dual fuel on a new Gas Injection System, especially that there is no performance difference between the two.

Cool I would take 4 grand for my VT wagon, she's a bit worn out, everthing seems to be rooted.

This isn't a thread about gas, so i wont bother listing the points to start an arguement. I bought a V8 for the sound and power. Saving 15 cents per tank doesn't phase me.

If you had the experiences with gas that a mate of mine had, you'd have a different opinion aswell

a car is worth what one is willing to pay, and for this fresh 18 year old that cannot drive a v8, he was willing to sacrifice 11300 for a clean, fairly quick and good looking car. if you asked me i would have to agree that 11300 was abit steep, but im not about to say no.... probably helps that im a very convincing salesman lol. i have no idea how this started a gas debate... but i have to say that for me, gas reduces the amount im willing to pay for a car.. gas is for bbq's and ovens, and occasionally Dutch ovens :P.
