got my eyes on a series 2 vx ss commy,black 6speed manual with 121000ks on it in a car yard in brissy,,they want just under 19k for it,what u guys think,,bit steep

get it cheaper if you look around. Id be checking private sales for a second hand car anyways.

Yeah a little steep. Maybe in the vicinity of 14k - 15k will get you a decent example.

the top link is an automatic though, you will pay a lil bit more for the 6 speed.

piston slap!!!! and oil leaks rear main in particular and power steering leaks. and just the trans and diff like any normal car

i paid 17k for my vx ss 6 speed manual 4 months ago with 86k on the clock, so round now u should be able to get them for high teens for a low kilometer vehicle

Well i picked up my VX SS II with 82000 on it from a holden dealer with certified used car warranty for only 18K, and the car is in near perfect condition in and out. Depends where you shop if u go to a dealer that is isolated they'll double the price cause of no competetion go to a place where there are many dealers in the one area, give you some bargining power.
