Ratio rockers + noise!!!

Guys,

My mechanic just installed 1.95 FIT Ratio Rockers on my VXII and said it sounded pretty rough is this normal?

he said it sounds like a desiel?

Any ideas?

He said give it the weekend and have a look

FIT Suggusted 5/16's pushrods

Really Want any ideas at all on this one should i wait the weekend or get the Pushrods now??

When they "re-work" the rockers to change the pivot ratio, this pulls the pushrod closer the edge of the cast hole in the head which can cause contact between the pushrod and the head. Not good. They go to a narrower rod to clear this, but I'm very sceptical of the whole process. But I dare say your rods are rubbing against the head causing extra noise in the top end. My opinion is that if you change the rocker ratio, you should change the valve springs accordingly, this new valve spring pressure HAS to be taken in to account when going to a smaller pushrod.
