well with all the gear i just purchased 4 mine (few more extras that urs) ive been gettin quotes from 500-600 2 fit the lot. so y dont u just save some money, get the extra shocks ect... that u need and fit it all at the same time? it'll save u some cash and them some time that way.

    should i get shorter shocks?
    do i really need them?
does it affect the ride height?
would all shorter shocks than the stock ones be stiffer? cos thats what im after...
what brand shocks does everyone run?
    and how much $$$ roughly?

    cheers.

i rekon u should get them 4 a couple reasons, just ask urself 1st how many kms has ur stock shocks done already? will they last or get shagged out not long doen the track and then only 2 find u'll need 2 replace them? if u go shorter least u know they r new and u wont have 2 worry about replacing any parts and spending extra money 2 do a 2nd job thats not needed.

Id assume they would b the same ride height u just may put more strain on the stock shocks thats about it. Not sure bout if its stiffer or not i havent ridden ina VT with shorter shocks but from wat ive read it rides alot better. i paid $112 4 rear shocks as a pair and $99 each 4 the front struts shocks they r the monroe brand 2 but i also got them trade price.
